I finally got a chance to erase my original review that I did when I first signed on with these people. Update on this review long overdue. From the first day problems arose. I had rented four 10 x 20 units. I asked on three different occasions about the door height, I was told it was 8 foot six tall . that was not true even though I asked on three different occasions before renting. I have a jet boat that stands 8 foot three inches tall on his trailer, and 18 feet long. I was unable to put it the storage unit. Because I was misinformed or just straight out lied to about the door height. So I asked if I could return that storage unit which I had paid on my credit card along with the other 3 units that I paid 6 months in advance. I also gave them the choice of just adding more time to the other three instead was told they couldn’t do that and they would have to charge me $125.for storage unit that I could never use, because of the information had given to me. I said that is absolutely not acceptable and file a dispute with my credit card company and won it. I thought that would be the end of it, but it wasn’t. started to move cars into the other three bays that were supposed to be 20 feet long as quoted and shown in their website one of the cars is a charger that has a push bar in the front of it brings the cars with length a little over 17 feet. It barely fit in the stall, that’s why I got out of a tape measure and found out the units are all only 18 long. Not as advertised. Then Extra Space Storage took money out of one of the other contracts and said they use that money to pay me back. I went around and around the managers about fixing this and the constant gaslighting being bounced from different people to different people and getting nowhere in the end . they shorted me one month on one of my rented units and refused to pay me back the money they owed me. so now I gotta take them to court. For the missing money and the missing space probably throw in ,false advertising, and unscrupulous business practices. I found out they have been class-action sued for this before. any new people who want to rent should be aware of what’s really going on. I’m their behalf I did fire the person who I dealt with in the store. I should’ve saw the red sign. there’ was another customer arguing about not receiving credits before I rented. But at the time I was under a lot of stress because I had to move six vehicles to new location, but if your current renter, or looking to rent be advised on what I’ve just written.
