I was a renter for over 2 years and they kept raising my rates almost as if they were purposely trying to get me to move out. It wasn't just little price hikes. They were quite substantial. It happened several times. I always had to go into the office and negotiate a better price. DO NOT USE AUTOMATIC PAYMENTS BECAUSE OF THIS. They will automatically charge you the higher rate without you even knowing. I have recently started renting from them again and a few things have changed drastically. First is the INCREDIBLY AWEFUL app to enter and exit. You are better off getting out of your vehicle and typing in the long pin code to exit the premises. You'll see why if you rent here. Second, it seems as though they are phasing out customer service. They are pushing for everything being self service. They actually charge more per month if you want a "dedicated phone line" to be able to talk to someone. I was told when I checked out on the website that if you don't use the lock they automatically charge you for, that I could receive a refund at the front desk. But when I went in for a refund I was told they will just credit my account on the next months rent. This is not a "refund". This is a "credit". I had my old lock from my previous stay here. I didn't need to be charged for another. It will be interesting to see how this plays out when they start jacking up my rent again without notice. THE APP IS THE WORST!!! IT'S HORRIBLE!!!
