Do not use this company if you need storage for longer than a very short term. I was locked in for a “promotional rate” for a certain number of months. I expected a reasonable increase following the expiration to reflect demand/market but not by $100/month (a nearly 100% increase). The representative I spoke with could not guarantee that this would not continue to happen each month.

Happy with the storage unit itself, ease of access, space options, communication, etc. However, they raised the cost of my unit from $124 to $224 after 6 months with less than a month of warning. EDIT: Dropping to 1 star after Extra Space commented on this review asking me to call and discuss my rate. They have since deleted their comment, and when I called, they said that my rate was a promotional rate for new customers only and that there was nothing they could do. DO NOT rent storage from ExtraSpace unless you're willing to pay nearly double the advertised rate.
