Professionally run location at Nicholson Court in Kensington, Maryland. Overall a positive experience, and the facility director was cooperative and easy to work with. The remote access to the units is a plus with coded digital entry into the facility at virtually all hours. A few minor issues could be addressed that might improve an already good experience. At times the loading carts are too few in number because of the number of users. The dumpster is convenient but fills quickly so, on rare occasions it might be necessary to wait a day for the dumpster to empty--so plan visits accordingly. The barrier doors into and out of the storage unit areas are difficult to juggle with loaded carts. One great improvement would be a push-button access that makes the doors come open so you could push the cart through without impairment. It's also easy to lose a cart's contents on the barely noticeable, slightly sloped concrete outside in the loading area. Just be mindful of the slope. I would not hesitate to give my business to Extra Space Storage again particularly if the location were as professionally run as the Kensington store.
