Good evening all, First I have to say Blair is a great representative and great customer service representative. Now for the downside of my experience, I came to life storage because of the great special price for my current storage unit which was $169.00 I agreed to rent and and used the auto pay option from my bank account,and so happy with my experience . A few months later my unit fee increased to the $230’s I called and the worked with me and got it closer to $200.00. Another few months later it increased to the $260’s and now about nearly a year in it has increased to just over $300:00. So my unit has now doubled in price less than a year , I have a perfect payment record with life storage and now wonder is there an end to this, perhaps a cap or will it jump to $600.00 in another year? I don’t understand this at all , do they not want renters for extended amounts of time? I spoke with other renters and they expressed the same feelings. I wish I can get a fair price and better communication as to when the increases will subside. These price hikes are substantial , im sure some people come on a budget and might think price hikes will not be so substantial, is there a percentage the customers can be informed of regarding these price hike so the can prepare for the financial setback they are going to . I really like the staff and the unit however these fees are outrageous especially if these large increases never stop.
