**UPDATE:** Unfortunately, the situation has become considerably worse since I originally posted this review. I repeatedly attempted to communicate with this facility in writing regarding surrendering/vacating my unit and what was required of me. I also specifically informed them that I am not available for telephone calls and require written communication due to a disability. Despite that, I received mixed and inadequate responses to my written communications while the phone calls continued. I have now received a notice of lien even though I had already communicated my intent to surrender the unit and had been trying to resolve the situation with them in writing. At this point, I regret that Google does not allow a rating lower than one star. My original review gave the facility the benefit of the doubt and specifically noted that I would update it if additional problems occurred. Unfortunately, they have. The underlying construction problem was frustrating, but the handling of my attempts to vacate, the inconsistent communication, the continued calls after I requested written communication, and now the lien notice are far more concerning. I have retained my written correspondence concerning this matter. Original Review: I specifically planned to vacate my unit during the cooler part of the month. Unfortunately, that plan was disrupted when the facility announced a pavement project that eliminated customer access with relatively short notice. The project was then extended, again delaying access and causing me to lose the move-out window I had intentionally set aside. As a result, by the time I regained access, temperatures had increased substantially, making the move far more difficult. In my experience, the "climate-controlled" building was still uncomfortably hot to work in for an extended period during warm weather, which was disappointing given what customers would reasonably expect from that feature. I contacted the facility explaining the situation and asked whether there was any flexibility on my move-out timeline given that the closure directly interfered with my plans. I also asked about disposal options for a remaining mattress and what options were available if I could not completely empty the unit before my next payment date. Those questions have been insufficiently answered, leaving me without the information I need as my payment date approaches. I understand that construction projects happen and delays are sometimes unavoidable. My disappointment is not with the existence of the project itself, but with the lack of meaningful accommodation or practical assistance after it disrupted my planned move. I simply expected better communication and a greater willingness to work with a customer whose move-out timeline was directly affected by the facility's own access restrictions. There were also additional issues I reserve the right to place here and amend this review at any time to fully illustrate the problems with this business.
