EDIT: After talking with the manager, he submitted a request to drop my rate. It will still increase, but more like 20-25%, not 75%. I'm bumping my rating up from 1 star to 3, but I still feel like I shouldn't have to go through this hassle to negotiate a fair rate. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I paid upfront for 4 months, at a rate I found reasonable. I was shocked to learn that after these 4 months, my new monthly rate is a full 75% higher than what I initially paid! Meanwhile, the facility is still offering a "promo rate" for new customers that is actually 25% less than what I paid. This feels like a bait-and-switch, where they know you're a "captive audience" once you move all your stuff in. It's hard to move it back out to a new unit, so they spike your rate (in my case, almost doubled it), and they expect that you'll just pay it to avoid the hassle of moving again. Other than the price, everything else was fine. Move in was easy, it seems secure, etc. But no one should ever increase a rate by 75% over what it was. Buyer beware!
