I am incredibly disappointed with my experience at this Extra Space Storage facility. When I initially signed up, the rate seemed reasonable, but it has become clear that this is a classic "bait-and-switch" operation. Within 12 months of moving my belongings in, my rent has been increased by over $150. It feels like they intentionally lure you in with low "introductory" rates, knowing full well they plan to hike the price significantly once your items are already packed away and moving them out becomes a massive logistical and financial burden. It is frustrating to see that they continue to advertise much lower rates for new customers while long-term tenants are squeezed with these sudden, predatory spikes. There is zero transparency regarding how or when these increases occur, and when I reached out to discuss the issue, I was met with scripted excuses rather than any real attempt to resolve the situation. I feel trapped, and I regret choosing this company. If you are looking for long-term, stable storage, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere. This is not a business model built on customer service; it is built on exploiting the fact that moving your property is difficult and expensive. Save yourself the headache and go with a more honest provider
