I've been renting with Extra Space storage for a long time. This is actually my second room that I've rented over the last few years. It's always very clean and easy to access. The customer service is very good. My only complaint is that we rented the room in December after my son graduated from college and the rates when up just over a month later and a very high percentage! It was very unexpected, even though the contract is monthly. To be clear, we received a notice that they were going up soon. It was definitely a bit if a shock, especially for the percentage. So far customer service has been very nice and we hope to continue renting here for a while to come. (Unless they have another huge increase!)

It's my first time renting storage space and I had a good experience. Joe was very patient and detailed regarding the price and the size of the storage unit. Nice guy. Update 4/3/24 This is my second time renting with My extra space. Joe professional attitude remains the same; kind, welcoming and knows his job.
