UPDATE: Management contacted me after I posted this review, apologized for the inconvenience. I appreciate that they reached out directly and made an effort to address the situation. While I still believe customers should have been notified that both elevators were out of service, I’m glad management responded and took steps to make things right. ——- Extremely frustrating experience. I rent a climate-controlled unit on the third floor. Today I loaded my minivan with a ton of stuff, drove to the facility, unloaded everything, and put it on one of their carts. Only then did I discover that BOTH elevators were out of order. No text, no email, no notice on the website, and no warning before entering and unloading. The office was closed, and multiple calls to customer support went unanswered. Other customers were stuck in the same situation and were just as frustrated. At that point, loading everything back into my minivan and going home wasn’t a reasonable option, so I spent an extra hour and a half hauling heavy items up the stairs to the third floor. I understand that elevators break. What I don’t understand is the complete lack of communication. A simple text or email would have allowed customers to plan accordingly and come another day. For a multi-story storage facility, having both elevators down is a major issue, and customers should be notified. Given the inconvenience, extra physical labor, and time wasted because of this communication failure, I expect management to contact me directly and make a meaningful effort to make this right. A generic apology or canned response won’t cut it. I’ll update this review if management reaches out and genuinely addresses the situation.
