I rented a unit in Nov 2024. Within 3 months they raised my rate from $83/mo to about $160/mo. When I contacted them, I was told my rent was month to month and was based on the current market rate. I was offered two options when I rented the unit and it was never explained to me that they could continually raise my rate with a 30 day notice. I assumed the option I chose was my contracted rate until I canceled. I went from initially paying $94/mo to a billing of $179/mo. Chris (who is the manager) gave me a $50 credit because the 30 day notice went to an old address and I never knew it. He also reduced the rate for the next month (April) from $179 to $134 which brought my new total for next month to $145, which is still a $50/mo increase. I have been out of work for a while and the initial amount quoted was within my budget. It really bothers me that alot of people probably lose their belongings because they can't afford the unit with the increase. To expect someone to have the capability to move all their possessions within 30 days (which it's probably less than that from the time they mail the notice and you receive it). Although I am grateful for Chris working with me, it doesn't seem like this process should be legal. As with a housing rental, when you go month to month, the original lease usually states what the percentage is they can charge if you go month to month. It doesn't seem legal they can keep changing the rate of increase every month. Or can they?? I don't have alot of experience with storage rentals but I have worked as a property accountant for 32 years and never seen anything like this. I just feel like they should be more transparent when explaing the contract.

I booked online and within a few hours I got a call from the Storage Rep, Tim. Very hospitable! He invited me to come visit and offered to show me where my unit was located. I showed up a little before closing and the place was well conditioned and clean. Not to mention my interaction with Tim was pleasant and professional.

Chris and his team offer outstanding customer service! The facility was very clean and while I ultimately did not rent my unit at this location, I truly wish I could have. If you need assistance with a rental space, come talk to the team and let them help you out!

Very easy to arrange for a rental unit and the space was super clean when we got it. The folks at this location were very easy to work with on move out. Would highly recommend this location.
