Excellent facility and even better customer service…

We are very pleased with the Extra Space Storage in Wake Forest. We just leased a second space for a family member. The facility is very clean. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Highly recommend.

We’ve been storing here for about a year and the process has been a breeze. It’s clean, safe, and employees are incredibly responsive. I was assisted by Michael today after losing the key to my lock and he turned my brief panic around very quickly. Highly recommend storing here!

UTTERLY IMPRESSIVE!!! In light of the fact that the circumstances under which I was abruptly "forced" to secure a safe, cost efficient and clean storage facility (March 2025), the Wake Forest, NC, location of Extra Space Storage EXCEEDED ALL MY EXPECTATIONS!!! Not only did they honor the then one-month free promotion without hassle, the facility noteworthily provided several "extras" never available to me via other nationwide storage companies (due to former military affiliations and other "frequent-move-related" circumstances, I certainly have exceeded the "normal" use of them and believe I have a high level of credibility when it comes to these things). Specifically, the facility: 1) was practically new (or comprehensively renovated); upon my initial arrival, I thought I had erroneously accessed the corporate office and not the actual storage facility, 2) consisted of completely enclosed tiered units with a reliable elevator (thereby eliminating any concerns about weather-related, flooding, etc., exposure), 3) required passcode access via the building and NOT via a gate, 4) consisted of time-activated lighting upon arrival at EVERY storage unit corridor, 5) provided a plethora of excellent conditioned flatbeds for use, and 6) is overseen by genuinely empathetic, professional and kind staff...I APPRECIATE YOU, MIKE! Reiterating the unexpected time sensitivity of my need for storage, my initial conversation with Mike, Facility Manager, was one of sincere understanding, concern, efficiency and humanity. I had the pleasure of meeting him in person when I vacated my space, confirming my initial perception of his energy. While it is my desire to NEVER "need" public storage space again, should the need arise, I am grateful the tedious aspect of selecting a suitable one is forever eliminated...EXTRA SPACE STORAGE (WAKE FOREST, NC) SETS THE BAR FOR HOW A STORAGE FACILITY SHOULD EXIST. P.S. It is also noteworthy that prior to utilizing them, I was not aware of their existence!
