I've had this storage unit since the end of last year, started out at 40 something dollars and moved up to 53 and I asked him if it was going to be moving any more than that and they said no. 53 should be the price until the beginning of next year. Monday the 2nd, I was sitting in my car at the storage unit waiting for someone to come help me with some of my belongings. As I was waiting brittnee the one who always confronts me with something negative, in front of me and told me they were trying to get ahold of me and email me but I have not responded. I gave them my new phone number but apparently they didn't write it down when I called because they've been calling the wrong number. They told me I was being evicted, I had 24 hours or less only that day to move out if I wanted my deposit back. I said that's not fair and they said well they have me on camera with many rules being broken one I was smoking yes I was smoking in the privacy of my car, and there's no rule against that, too they said I was littering which I was not the few days before that Monday was very windy in Orlando and I always take my trash and put it in my car to dump it at another place because that entire dumpster they have their are not for customers then who are they for? There for them so when they clean out people's belongings they can dump it and not for the customers even though we're the ones paying. It was windy a plastic bag got loose and I actually went after it but I was not fast enough so I couldn't catch it. That's the littering I did apparently. Then they said I was loitering which I am not you say I am a older woman who is by herself with no help and I have hurt myself and went to the hospital twice this past few months so I have a walker and now I have a cane as I'm getting better but I'm not loitering it just takes me longer so I have to take breaks and I do it in my car nowhere else and they consider that loitering so I thought I was being discriminated against. They told me I had until the 8th and if I do move out on the 8th I will not get my deposit back. I had no heads up, and I told him that I would get a lawyer for this because I believe this is illegal because afterwards they would sell or throw my stuff away which is against the law when I told them I had no actual warning yet I said I would like a paper woods with her standing there and she refused she says she has it on camera I said I would like to see the video she refused. Then I've come to find out that they've raised the prices of my small unit not a large storage unit a small one, just $70 a month from $53. Do not bring your swords to any extra space storage these people are scammers and they rip you off they're constantly watching you because I was also told that they complain on the video that I was leaving belongings in the hallway with my storage door open of course I am I have to go up and down and move things I can't shove it all back in my storage it wasn't in the way it wasn't blocking the entire hallway. If you read this far thank you, the point is I'm telling you right now I've also heard about lawsuits against them because they're literally scamming people out of money for small units. This place is awful, unprofessional, and unrealistic. We should be able to use the dumpsters they have, and if we accidentally leave something behind they don't give you a warning or anything they just add it all up as if I'm in school again. Britney was disrespectful unprofessional and very rude. I asked for corporate number and or the owner's manager's number and she refused that as well. Save yourself some trouble do not bring your belongings no matter what because they will raise the price on you in just a couple of months if not almost over 50 to 80% of the price. And they don't care what your issues are which I understand, but at the same time this was unprofessional and I got no warning. No matter how much they continue to say that they have warned me they did not.

What can I say about Extra Space Storage that I haven't already expressed in my prior review of a different location last year. Hands down there is no other storage facility thats as clean, friendly, helpful and safe to store your personal and business items. I have been using different locations for over a dozen years for storing projects, business items and personal items and I have always been very comfortable using Extra Space . Their managers are always on point. If you use this location on LK Underhill & Rouse, look up Brittney who's very welcoming and knowledgeable!
