I was only using this storage for two months so this review is based on only a short time. I’ll list what I believe are the pros and cons of this facility: Pros: Nikita, at the front desk, is not only an outstandingly great human but also probably one of the best employees this corporation could have found. She deserves a raise and I hope she is recognized for her superior customer care. The only other pro is the facilities are kept clean, it seems. Cons: So many. 1) The app promises that one can open the gate with just a tap or using Siri. Neither work. 2) The location of the key code pad to raise the door is simply ridiculous and not thought out at all. You have to get out of your vehicle to punch your code in and then jump back in quickly to make it through the roll gate. If you pull up directly to the key code box to punch your code in, there is a metal pillar directly in front of your vehicle so you have to quickly back up before pulling forward and before the gate closes. People with mobility issues be aware of this. 3) The larger loading area, to the left, is on a slant so good luck getting your rolling cart full of things to not roll quickly towards the gate before you can catch it. It seems a storage facility would, at the very least, make sure the loading garage is level. 4) Minor but the key code boxes are VERY sensitive and will punch in a double number making you have to start again. 5) You have to buy one of their locks and their insurance (my other storage unit at a neighboring facility-which is great, by the way-allows one to use renters insurance, if you already have it and you can use your own approved lock). 6) There are no lights in the units (my other storage has an overhead light at the same price) 7) When you sign the lease, be sure to know they raise your rent at the three month mark and they don’t notify you via email or text and will only mail you a notice-which I think is questionable, at best. 8) Getting out of the parking area is tricky and I don’t even know how a big moving truck would even access the garage (I never saw one inside in my back and forth for two months. Overall, would I recommend this place? No, unless you’re just storing things and not accessing your unit regularly and are ready to pay whatever increase shows up in your mail or shows in your third month charge. I moved out the day before the third month charge and I never received an increase notice. Perhaps they weren’t increasing my rent or they were going to increase it even without a paper notice. I can’t say.
