For the smallet storage, it started off at about $75 a month and thenthe price kept going up all the time without any notice. By the end of it all the price had more than doubled!!! Not worth it at all… since I had auto payment on I never noticed the price increase and when I did I cleared it out and returned it.

If you don’t have the ability to pay 12 months in advance, you can absolutely expect a massive increase in your monthly rate, probably five or six months into your contract. We are talking probably a 100% increase. So if you’re paying $60 a month now, in six months or less be prepared to pay $120. In fact, they probably don’t even allow you to do 12 months in advance anymore. Anyway, had they offered me a competitive price or matched the storage facility I brought all my belongings to, I would’ve stayed. I’ve been there for a couple years, but they never offered to match a competitors pricing. So much for custom loyalty. The facility is decently kept and it’s nice that you have a code and can enter most any times. That’s positive. The staff are usually friendly and accommodating. My issue is with management and or ownership. Absolute extortion that they can take advantage and charge literally double from one month to the next with very brief warnings. Maybe a postcard in the mail. Expecting you to swallow the 100% increased fee. I didn’t fall for it. Again, if they offered me competitive pricing and price matched, maybe. But that was never offered. So, I left the unit spotless and went about 2 miles down the road and received the same unit for less. Their loss.
