Have been under new management for only one week and they already raised my rent an extra $11 a month. I've only been a customer for about 3 months and already they raised my rent. This is ridiculous and they never said anything about the company changing ownership from cubesmart to extra space storage. Never received an email, text message, phone call or no letter in the mail notifying customer of the change.

After the fact, I found out that this location, where I have a storage unit was acquired by Extra Space. I totally panicked not knowing what may have happened to my things. CubeSmart put me through the wringer and dropped me like a bad habit without notice. I said all that to say that once I was given the new contact information, I reached out ready to throw blows. lol. It wasn’t needed. From the opening pitch, Pedro stepped up to the plate with a triple hitter. He knew my name from the number I was calling from and addressed me as such. He had already pulled up my account and unit number as I was explaining to him what happened. And by the time I was done, he’d safely made it home when he answered any question I might have before I even asked. This showed that he was knowledge, accountable, he listened, was concerned and shared compassion which most companies completely lack. It was as if he knew me personally and we’d met before. He maintained a professional, calm, positive and confident tone and one that was eager and ready to assist. I felt at ease, and the panic dissipated. He even apologized for the other company mistakes and that knocked it out the park! Everyone needs a Pedro on their team. A World Series type player.
