Since changing ownership from cubesmart to extra space storage, My rent has increased tremendously. Went from $63 a month to $124 for a small unit. I will be moving out and completely avoiding extra storage space!

I’m not sure how they are rated so high. After we moved ALL our household goods into 2 units while our house was on the market, they DOUBLED the rent. We went from 100 month to right under 200 for one unit… we had only been there a couple of months. Sad all these places are like that now… we only needed a couple more months while the VA loan gets finished and sadly we will have to move all of our stuff to a new facility. I can see maybe a little increase but double is unacceptable!!!
