***REVISED*** When we removed our items from storage after only 2 months, many items had mold visible on them. This is supposed to be climate-controlled - we paid extra for a climate-controlled unit so this wouldn't be an issue! I have moved MANY times in my lifetime and had items in storage for several months at a time and I have NEVER had things get moldy. None of the other storage units were climate-controlled, so I guess it is actually a BAD idea. South-Central Texas is HUMID, people - climate-controlled SHOULD be a good thing, but this place really didn't cut it. (Next time I need storage - and there WILL be a next time, as I have one more move coming - I will NOT use a climate-controlled unit!) ***ORIGINAL REVIEW*****WAS 5-STAR*** So far, so good! As long as things don't go south once I get there, this review will remain as-is. LaMar assisted me over the phone and was fantastic to work with. He anticipated and listened to my needs - in an age where that type of customer service doesn't exist anymore. LaMar made my reservation over the phone and made it almost TOO easy. MUCH appreciated in a complicated cross-country move!! THANK YOU, LaMar - and thank you, Life Storage, for employing such a high-quality individual.
