MY RATE WENT UP $68 IN 4 MONTHS. I have a rather small storage unit, upstairs in the back - definitely not a prime spot. When I began with Extra Space I had a great promo for under $100 and then after the first month it went up to $100. Normally for storage units, they will up the rent maybe $10 - $20 within the first 6 months, that's expected. But a $68 increase, that is more than 50% increase in cost.. is actually ridiculous. Call it business, call it theft, call it what it is. Per this increase I will be leaving this storage facility. Be aware of this type of treatment. It will happen to you.

We had five storage units across the course of our move and renovation and had an extremely positive experience. Everything was clean and convenient, with trolleys to use as we added items ad-hoc. They even called us when we neglected to lock up properly. Many thanks to the team for such excellent service!

I'm currently a customer of Extra Space Storage, and my trailer was vandalized, resulting in the theft of everything inside. There has been no compensation or apology from management. Most of the units are infested with spiders, and some even have mice. My lawyer is in the process of filing a lawsuit for retaliation because one of the managers made an inappropriate sexual advance toward me. She exposed herself, which caused me to nearly have a panic attack, ultimately leading to my rushing to the ER. I wish I were single and 30 years younger. Their District Manager, Menlany, and District Team Leader, Rich, are two individuals I believe are trying to cover it up. Additionally, their online pricing appears to be a bait-and-switch scheme. I plan to sue them for sexual harassment, public exposure, indecency, intimidation for forced reviews, and bait-and-switch pricing, as they required me to buy their insurance and lock under duress, which is illegal in Texas. Attached is a screenshot of my account, ER notes, and my lawyer's information to prove that I am a legitimate and unhappy customer.
