First note: the front desk staff is great. Lovely people who are genuinely helpful. The watchouts: - I was told I could prepay a year at the offered monthly rate. Once I got to the office, I was told that policy had changed. Rather than honoring what was told to me over the phone, they said they could only offer me 6 months. I asked how much the rent typically goes up after that, and they said it was impossible to know. - the unit was advertised at 10x15. It is actually 10x14. - we just hit the 6mo mark and they doubled the rent. When I called to challenge that as unfair, I was told they were doing me a favor and could charge me more. Not liking these folks very much. They don’t treat their customers like they want us to stick around — or come back. Doubling the rent strikes me as opportunistic, mean-spirited and greedy.
