Franklin Self Storage at 6805 S 27th St

In a little under a year and a half they’ve raised the price on me 3 times for more than $25 per unit each time. They only provide a few carts and if anyone is hogging them, tough luck. The garage door was inoperable on multiple visits forcing me to push a cart barely fitting through the outside door in the winter snow. There’s also at least one unit that appears to be used as a workshop leaving tons of things through the hall for extended periods of time. For these prices this place should really be maintained better.

This is the second time I've rented a space at this same location, and it's a very clean and spacious place. The gentleman who assisted me was very kind and clear in every detail, giving a very thorough explanation. Thank you, excellent place and staff.

Fair warning: While the rate may initially appear to be locked in for one year, that was not the case in my experience. The price increased within four months - and it seems like it is common practice that they do. I’m also unclear about the level of climate control at the facility. Additionally, I observed an individual whose living situation appeared questionable—possibly living out of their car and using the storage facility to stay warm and access an outlet. To be clear, the individual did not harass anyone; it simply seemed like a sad situation and raised concerns about the conditions and oversight at the facility. NOTE - I already did call and talk to your representative, who told me the prices do increase (as stated above) and her response was that it was only $21 a month increase and made it sound like it was no big deal. If you want to truly resolve this situation versus having me call again, you would honor the original price for at least 1 year before raising the prices.

I had a good fortune to meet the store manager Wes Brown. Wes went above and beyond expectations! This is my third storage unit at this location and I'm 100% satisfied! Wes was able to provide perks that make business relationships work for me!
