Vancouver Self Storage at 8016 NE 78th St

Just thought this place was great at first Susan seemed to be on top of her game until she told me how to get in the storage after hours she said you can always get out of the gate if inside so if you want to get in after hours u had to have someone inside already letting you inside by entering the code. Then I got in trouble for staying late and her and my girlfriend got friendly with each other and she proceeded to tell my girl that they kept large amounts of cash on hand and it would be an easy target. And then comes getting kicked out and the reason Brian gave was my dog was off leash and we used their electricity which Susan had given us permission more than once and Brian said the decision was the district manager who kicked us out and when we asked his contact info to argue that neither infraction that we were kicked out for was a rule or posted anywhere on site like the dumpster and recycle bin are marked all around it and on the cans themselves not to use we were denied manager name and number. And so they put us on office hours only and then give us 14 days to get out but Sunday the office is closed and they are counting Sundays in those 14 days and we can't get access on Sunday because the office is closed and in the midst of all this they conveniently changed their office hours from 8am to 9:30 just to make it more difficult on us and after us bringing news publicity them in September when we started renting here. And they have high prices and raise their rents frequently. I recommend using any other storage facility other than this one:( and another thing that was a major turn off is Susan would harass us for Google reviews even asked repeatedly for us to create dummy Google accounts to give her more good reviews. She even said she pays her teenage daughters friends for them doing a good review for her. Very unprofessional to say the very least. I don't recommend anyone use this storage facility until the upper management fixes these issues. Erik Berg(Marlene's and Tom's son)

Susan is the best manager I've had the pleasure of renting from she's always on her A game. Nothing it's by her and she keeps the place very clean and well kept grounds and storage units. I've rented from them three or so times over the last ten years and always feel like my stuff is gonna be safe because of Susan. I'm sorry to say that the staff won't put us in contact with the regional manager after being told we had fifteen days left to get out and the reason that was given was my dog was off leash and we plugged in and used their electricity which I had permission to do until they locked units and nothings ever been mentioned about my dog being off leash and nothing is posted at all about either infractions they gave the reason for why they are evicting us. I do believe that the male that works two days of the week tried to pet my dog a few weeks ago and got bit in the hand. He never asked if it was okay to pet my rescue dog which still nips and bites when touched not wanted. It took me three weeks before I could pet her without her trying to bite. I believe the district manager whom they said seen the dog off leash on Wednesday and us plug a cord into the outlet near my unit should talk to us regarding this because I don't think it right or fair and it isn't in their rules even.

Susan was very helpful to us - she helped us find what we needed even if we are not able to get the unit we needed even if it was not on their property
