I moved out of Redwood City's Extra Storage Space on Willow. Dave, the onsite manager was super helpful in getting me sorted with a working elevator and a truck bay close by when I discovered the elevator I used for moving in didn't work. He was professional, personable and knowledgeable. I rented a non climate controlled unit and didn't have any issues with the condition of my belongings. The Extra Space App made it easy to enter and exit the property securely and efficiently... and it kept all my info in one spot. I would recommend Extra Space if you are looking to store your belongings.

This location is the best place to store your items. We use these units to store our staging furniture for listings in real estate and it is the cleanest, best run facility. Barney and David were so wonderful to work with and they were so responsive and accommodating. Thank you both so much!

I had a fantastic experience with this location. I booked online and finished over the phone. I had very little time for my move and I first showed up with the movers. Barney, the store manager and Dave the assistant manager step up and got me in with a pass code in no time. The place was clean and well lit and there were carts easily accessible. It is not all perfect though, the rear freight elevator was slow. I mean it moved like a glacier slow. The door could take several minutes to respond to the button commands and at one time it took so long I felt trapped. This is not to reflect on the onsite managers who told me they were aware of the problem and trying to get it fixed. I only hope this review might help upper management to get it fixed since I feel like taking them to court for the emotional trauma of being trapped. Barney and Dave are top notch and deserve your business. So is Extra Space in general. That elevator has got to be fix though. Five stars for the team but only two for that elevator.

I can’t say enough about this facility and location!! The Onsite manager Barney was extremely professional, friendly and very helpful with my storage needs. The worker David was also very accommodating and nice . This facility is very clean, gated community , safe and someone is always present to assist . Thank you both being Awesome ???? Will definitely return for future storage needs !!!
