Stellar customer service combines with outstanding facilities at the 477 Harbor Blvd Belmont location. Jeremy is the site manager, and works with understanding about his cliental, whether on the phone, in person at the front desk, or about the property when he's walking, he's observing, and he's assisting. Another example of customer service understanding appeared on the day that I checked in with less than 20 minutes before closing. Jeremy sensed the urgency that I had so he handled the transaction with attentiveness toward me and with awareness that his co-worker could learn in the process. Jeremy commented and conversed with his co-worker about the particulars of the set-up. Additionally, Jeremy listened with understanding about the why of my storage need to hold a unit for downsizing and extended the necessary information to make the usage noteworthy, even if short-term. I also applaud Jeremy for knowing the neighborhood as he pinpointed a nearby sandwich shop with great reubens. I sense that Jeremy knows the intricacies of other self-storage places too since there are four within a kilometer area. Extra Space storage excels in many ways with facilities and customer service. Manager Jeremy at the 477 Harbor location embraces his role and welcome the humanity that considers and that rents units.

KNOW BEFORE YOU SIGN UP! This company is predatory and dishonest about how they price their units. They will tell you a low price to get you to commit to unit and then raise the price on you every couple months until you're up to the price that they want you to pay. A manager told us this would happen and that it was nowhere in the contract that they would do this. They pray on the fact that you won't want to move your stuff or in some cases not even able to move your stuff if you don't live in the area. You can try to fight back and they won't raise "as much" but they'll come back in a month or two and just keep raising. We started at $72 a month and now they're trying to make us pay $200+ eight months later. If they were just up front about this it would be a whole different story. Let us know what the actual price is and give a discount on the first few months but tell people what they will eventually have to pay so we can make an informed decision on where to store our stuff. Now we hate you as as company AND have to move our stuff when instead we would have either just gone somewhere else or just paid them the actual price they wanted but not felt scammed to get there. I don't care as much that the price is higher but I do care that they have lied to us the entire time just to get us to pay that price. Please just ask before you use this company. What is the REAL price they're going to make you pay. Not just the price they're using to get you in the door to trap you
