Extra Space is amazing Salvador Alvarez and Sheri L. Alipate were so helpful and friendly. They were so patience finding the perfect unit for my needs. I highly recommend them and also very professional. 7 years later zero stars Do not get a storage unit with this company. I’ve been with them for years, and when I first started, my rent was under $400.00 Every seven months, they raise the rent, and now I’m paying $836.20 for the exact same unit. They claim they send a notice or card a month before the increase, but that is incorrect. I have never received a notice. They simply charge my debit card a higher amount without any warning. How does my rent go from $756.20 to $836.20 in less than six months? That’s an $80 increase with no notice. I can’t wait until I can finally get my belongings out. Unfortunately, I’m not able to do that right now, but once I can, I will be leaving. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend thinking twice before renting a storage unit with them. The rent keeps increasing, and the way the increases have been handled has been extremely frustrating.
