First, if you have been researching storages, then you can stop your research right now, and secure your storage TODAY! Absolutely fantastic experience at Extra Space Storage in Richmond, CA! From start to finish, the service was top-notch, and I have to give a special shout-out to John and Chris for going above and beyond to deliver exceptional customer service. Their professionalism was evident from the moment I called their toll free number, as I decided not to go with another facility for the lack of customer. When I was provided with the direct number for this location, Chris was exceptional with actively listening to my needs due to me having to put my items in storage on short notice due to a recent acquisition. I was impressed by how attentive they were to my needs, answering all my questions with patience and ensuring I felt comfortable with the storage process, and that all of my options were provided including the best deal at the time! What really stood out was their fast responses. Whether it was through phone calls, or in person, John and Chris were quick to provide the information I needed. They were also incredibly willing to help with any requests, whether it was finding the perfect storage unit or helping me navigate the facility. Thanks to their exceptional customer service, I feel confident storing my items here. The grounds are clean, the unit provided was clean, and secured. I highly recommend this location! My husband and I have been customers for years (since before the pandemic) and have had nothing but positive experiences; the facility/ units are clean, the area feels safe, we know our items are secure here! The team at Extra Space (John, Demarcus, Nikita) are always helpful and willing to go the extra mile for you, after years of being customers it was sadly time for us close out our unit as we no longer had a need for storage. Upon cleaning out our unit we were having trouble fitting one last item into our truck. The team went above and beyond and lent us a tool so we could disassemble our item to make it fit securely into our vehicle. Although we no longer have a need for storage we know if there is ever a change in the future this is the place to go!
