      Advertised one rate then raised the price after a few months of storing. Not a reasonable amount, either. Almost 100 dollars more. The notice was sent via mail so we didn’t receive it in time to inform them we’d like to cancel. Seems like a company operating in bad faith with scammy practices. Gross. Avoid the headache and look elsewhere

      Not all might suck, and to be fair the Extra Space Storage is on par with others. However, the location on Otis and Division/13th St. has one thing others don’t. That one thing is a nasty manager who oversteps her boundaries from the moment you meet her. She is rude, nosy, and thinks that she is running the government archives. Do you know who she is when you see her, if she’s still working there, I would recommend moving to another location. She’s not worth it.

      rent went from $76 to $116 (52% increase) Even though they don't call it an introductory rate, It really is because it will very likely increase after ~3-4 months. they notify you ~30 days before the increase, 10 days notice is required to cancel while they are well within their right to increase rates with notice as per the contract, it feels bad and too consistent to be a genuine surprise to the business.
