I’m genuinely scared to even go to my storage unit because of the way Jimmy treats me at this Extra Space Storage location. Every time I’m there, he approaches me aggressively, questions me about why I’m there and what I’m doing, and acts like I don’t belong — even though I’m a paying customer with all my information already in their system. He never introduces himself professionally and has repeatedly threatened to cancel my account or call the police on me for no valid reason. Instead of feeling safe accessing my own unit, I feel intimidated and anxious every single visit. What makes this even harder is seeing him act polite and welcoming toward other customers while treating me completely differently. As a brown customer, the way I’m treated compared to others makes me feel targeted and discriminated against. No customer should feel fearful, harassed, or unsafe just for accessing their own belongings. Management needs to take this seriously and address his behavior immediately.
