Nicky the property manager helped us and she was very nice and helpful, she made the process quick and easy. She had no problem answering all my questions! I would highly recommend getting a unit here! The only reason why I am giving 4/5 and not 5/5 stars is because when I was reserving my unit online I requested a 10x10 unit with multiple door access and they gave me 2 5x5 units right next to each other instead. I mean it’s not the end of the world but I wish it would have told me that online when I was reserving/renting the unit online. Which had nothing to do with Nicky and her service it was more of an online problem. Other than that I had a positive experience! Oh and last thing it says online that you can purchase a lock online for $20 or bring your own and I decided not to buy one online and good thing I didn’t because she had put 2 brand new locks with the keys in our unit for us anyway!

The team at Extra Space Storage at the El Camino Ave site in West Sacramento and the Jefferson Blvd site in West Sacramento were very helpful as we looked to move our items due to a significant rate increase at Devons Storage. Michael P. Store Manager at the El Camino Ave site assisted in finding the right size unit even as his property did not have any available. The referral to the Jefferson Blvd location was very much appreciated. Nikki helped with all the move in details on the phone, and setting up automatic payment and accessing the interior unit in person. Thank you very much for the professional service. You have made a difference in the budget for our small non-profit with important items to keep safe!

Clean, easy to access, great email communication at setup and excellent customer service. My rate went up and they fairly negotiated a compromise - 5 stars!

*Edited Review: We recently moved out of our storage unit this past weekend and were extremely disappointed by what we found. Our unit had clear signs of rodent activity, including droppings inside the unit. After renting here for about a year and a half, this was very frustrating to discover. A few months ago, I actually emailed management to report concerns about the rodent control on the property. One of the bait stations near our unit was flung open and clearly had not been serviced in a long time. There were cobwebs inside, no bait present, and no labeling on the station. From a pest control standpoint, that is not only poor maintenance but also improper handling of pest control equipment. To make matters worse, our monthly rate was raised twice during the time we rented the unit. When I called management to raise concerns about the rodent issue, the response I received was that I “should have paid for insurance if I was worried about rats.” That response was dismissive and unhelpful, especially considering the property should be maintaining proper pest control regardless. Between the rate increases, the lack of maintenance of bait stations, and ultimately finding rodent droppings in our unit, this was a very disappointing experience. I would strongly encourage management to take pest control and customer concerns more seriously. Original Review: My husband and I had a great experience setting up a rental plan this past weekend. The gentleman at the front desk Michael was very helpful, gave us a tour of the property and answered all of our questions. Property is very clean and looks well maintained.
