Erika assisted me and was excellent!!! It was close to closing time and she was not only helping me but also one person on the phone and 2 other people who came in. She was pleasant and professional and took her time to help and explain things. I would give her 5 stars for her customer service. The issues I have with this facility are related to security. 1. The main gate is open during the day so anyone can walk in or out as the facility is in a city street. 2. Unlike other facilities in the area, there is no digital access. Entering is not an issue but to exit, you have to get out of your vehicle and walk to the keypad. At a minimum the keypad should be accessible from the vehicle. Given these issues I hope the facility makes the necessary safety upgrades. Updating to add that you no longer need to exit your vehicle in order for the gate to open to allow one to exit.

I had a fabulous experience coming in to check out and ultimately rent a storage unit at Extra Space on Taylor Street NE. Ari especially deserves a shout out. She made the whole process easy and fun. I have had storage units in a few other facilities run by other companies and none of them have come close to this Extra space. It's well-lit, clean, there's plenty of parking and there always seem to be carts.
