Navarre Self Storage at 9128 Navarre Pkwy

Great Location for our needs. We had no issues with our storage unit. We were on the second floor. Most of the time, our communication was good with the employees especially the initial guy when we moved in 2023. When we moved out, we did have a few suggestions but the employee that was there did not seem to care about what we suggested. His responses were not well done and did not act as though he would relay to management. 1. Elevators close too quickly. His response was that all elevators close like that and there was not anything he could do. This is absolutely absurd. Several times while trying to navigate in and out, the doors would close on the cart or myself within milliseconds. They would ram against the carts hard. This seems like a safety issue. 2. The large garage roll up doors were always being worked on and many days open. For anyone on the first floor and units facing the drive through, this could mean the unit may not be climate controlled. Met a couple that had one of those units and found mold and wet items in their belongings. Plus, once, I pulled up to enter, pushed the code for my unit, the large gate lifted. I then started to drive through as I saw the roll up door lifting. I was under the large gate and the roll up door stopped. There were contractors working on it. It took a few minutes for them to get it raised up. I backed up and the gate closed again. I had to do it all over again. It would have been nice if a couple of signs indicating the gate was being worked on. When I mentioned it to the employee (Jeff), he said the company could not help what the contractor did or did not do. That is crazy! Also, when we first rented, it was like 114 or 120 dollars. The cost went to over 200 after a year. We have another unit in another company and yes, they went up after a year but not like that. Ask that question if it is a concern. Luckily, we only used it a year. I might would use them again yet I think that one employees could use some education on customer service. He could have responded with something like, "Thank you for letting us know, I will relay this to management" but he just seemed to make excuses.

Excellent staff service. Alex helped me figure out what I would need short term and long term as I downsize my household. Very pleased.

The staff at Extra Space Storage are extremely nice, and very helpful. They returned my call that I had placed over the weekend even though I didn't leave a message, and were willing to answer all of the questions I had. I stored items here for a few months with no problems, and I highly recommend this storage facility to anyone who needs one.

Great people, there help was beneficial to ne and my wife storing our household goods while I was out of the country a whole year.

The staff have always been wonderful and the place is always clean. However, the rent has been excessively increasing over the year and is just getting too much for us and found an alternative route.
