I am always wary of storage places so I came into this looking for the worst. However, we are moving to a small apartment and needed a place to store some important items we aren't ready to downsize yet. With that in mind, I found Extra Space Storage online and gravitated to it because it is the closest storage unit to my new home. I did everything online and it was a breeze...the price was fair and the set up took only a few minutes. We wanted our rental to start the very next day and that was no problem either. When we showed up the first time, we were met by a super nice gentleman who welcomed us, helped me set up the app to gain remote access to the front doors, and gave us a quick class on how everything worked. They had free carts and a huge elevator for our use. The unit was clean, the lock they provided worked well, and my wife and I were able to completely empty our car and load our unit in just a single trip. I walked away in just a few minutes marveling at how easy everything was. We went back this morning to drop off another load and we were in and out again in under ten minutes...love this place. I realize it is a pretty simple business, but they have everything laid out well and if you need customer service they have that too! Highly recommend if the location is convenient for you like it is for us.

I recently tried to rent from here after seeing all the great reviews and I deeply regret it. Jay Levy was extremely disrespectful and rude to me over the phone to the point that it made me anxious. No one should ever have to deal with that. I simply want my refund and to stop all communication with someone who makes me feel uncomfortable. I asked him to send me a release form for the lock of my unit authorizing them to access it. I no longer had the key and I was not interested in renting it for the reasons below. I went to the office to do so during the timeframe they specified, and he was apparently at lunch. There were several issues: 1) Challenging to get in touch with the store manager 2) The unit was filthy and I had to sweep and mop it 3) There was someone in the unit who was apparently staying there even though the facility says he was not (inflatable mattress, tv and cable hooked up). Whether or not he was, when I brought this up to the manager, he laughed.

The sales person was very knowledgeable and professional. I was impressed with how quickly I received my unit.

I rented a small unit to store a crated object. Unfortunately the crate was larger than the shipper had indicated and was too large for the unit. The Store Manager (Jay Levy) easily noted the unit’s size disparity for my storage needs and quickly arranged to have my unit changed. He was professional, kind, considerate and knowledgeable. This is a military/veteran friendly business that generously offered a military discount. I highly recommend this location, Extra Space Storage and Jay Levy.
