I am changing my review regarding Chris and Kim because their kindness was only to get me as a customer! After two months of renting at this storage facility my rate was going to double for the third month. I decided to move out because there was no way I was going to pay almost $200 for that storage space. I always paid my rent weeks before it was due. So, I moved out after about 11 days and I was told that it was fine and I was to receive the refund of the balance time. After moving out Kim immediately put a tag on the unit that I had but because I had a bike and a few items outside of it she was not going to close me out. I told her that I would return quickly to get my things. She threatened me about the gate being locked and my password wouldn’t work anymore etc. The gate didn’t work anyway! I got my things out and she told me I had to talk to Chris about the refund. Chris said he closed me out and was going to back date my move out til January 2nd. I thanked him and he hung up. I called him back and asked why did he hang up, what about my refund?! He then started saying I owe money, etc. I told him he was a liar and he knew I paid my bill way before it was due. He kept making excuses. I asked for his boss and he said he couldn’t give me the number. I have started a complaint to the BBB and I will talk to Champaign court civil service department. This company is a rip off! Don’t rent from them or you are going to be paying double money on your third month of rent and dealing with some Very Unprofessional people. What goes around will com back around! You don’t treat people dishonestly and think your life will not experience the consequences. It’s written in the true book, God’s word, the Bible.
