I have had two different units at this location over the past year+. The building is a bit run down inside and at one point the basement was full of water near my basement unit, so I started to move my items and downsize to an upstairs unit. They were raising the price of my basement unit so it was a no brainer to do so. I now have a smaller unit which started out at $26. I thought wow, this is a decent price and now I don't need to stress to remove everything. Well, just like the last unit, prices went up and they doubled. Here we are hitting about the one year mark and guess what, we're now tripled in price. For a small unit, the starting rate was incredible and this most recent rate is ridiculous. And with barely any notice too. Living far away from this unit makes it difficult to just switch around and play their games. I would choose very wisely and sign contacts carefully! The staff here seems friendly enough but they don't have much to say when they raise prices. I will be moving out as soon as I can. I don't want to still be there when they quadruple the price. It's getting ridiculous and unfair. Beware! Aside from the price scams and wet basement, I do think they're ok... Easy access from the city, decently maintained units, and access controlled with later hours than some places. But the prices aren't working for me.
