As an attorney charged with the responsibility of administering my Mother's estate, when we sold her home, I was obliged to find a suitable facility to maintain several pieces of her antique wood furniture, artwork and other items of intrinsic value until their disposition could be determined ultimately. After doing my research on the internet, Life Storage, Hicksville, was the logical choice because of its proximity to my home as well as my Mother's. I have been more than satisfied by my selection in this regard. The product is as represented in the promotional literature, i.e., extraordinary value, cleanliness, quality, climate controlled comfort and security. Important also was the convenient availability of a plethora of hand trucks and trolleys of all sizes to facilitate the safe and expeditious movement of items from the porch or loading dock to the units. Most impressive, however, has been the experience of leasing the unit from Life Storage, Hicksville now known as Extra Space Storage. The entire staff, were and continue to be friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and accommodating in every respect. I have been especially impressed by the Store Manager, Lene, whose genuine sincerity and warmth, infectious enthusiasm, dedication and consummate professionalism make her a compelling and worthy spokesperson for the Hicksville facility and a credit to the Life Storage now Extra Space brand. I have noticed that the amiable environment that the staff has created seemingly has fostered a camaraderie among the patrons as well which is somewhat unique for a storage facility. Indeed, I have been so impressed by the way the facility has been maintained and operated, that I have leased a second large unit for my own personal use as my wife and I reorganize our own home. Suffice to say, I have taken a number of Lene's business cards and will be recommending Life Storage, now known as Extra Space Storage, Hicksville, to my family, friends, colleagues, and business acquaintances, who may have need for any one or more of the many services offered.
