The manager at this location (Doreen at University Avenue, Rochester, NY) is exceptional, rational, exceedingly kind, and sticks up for her customers. The corporation as a whole, however, is a band of crooks and I would deter anyone from entering a lease agreement. My rental rate increased 130% in the 29 months I was in it, causing enormous financial burden for me and forcing me to find an alternative when the 4th (final) rate increase (in 2 years!) was made. At this location in particular, there have been serious structural issues with the building, preventing leasees from being able to drive into it and gain closer access to storage units. Parking outside of the building and hauling stored items to and from a unit is exceedingly cumbersome, especially given the increasing cost of the square footage for which I was paying. Buyer Beware - if you do decide to rent a unit, pay close attention to rate increases, they come frequently and at unreasonable increments!
