I stored my classic car here for four years in a 10×20 unit, and unfortunately, my experience became more disappointing each year. When I first rented the unit, I was paying $89 per month. By the time I moved out, that price had increased to $219 per month — about a 145% increase. In my opinion, those kinds of increases were excessive and felt like they were taking advantage of long-term customers. The biggest issue for me was that I eventually ended up paying more than what many climate-controlled 10×20 units in the Avon area were going for, even though my unit wasn’t climate-controlled at all. On top of that, the unit wasn’t properly sealed. Dirt, dust, leaves, and other debris would regularly blow in through gaps around the door. When you’re storing a valuable vehicle, that’s the last thing you expect — especially at a premium price. I trusted this facility to help protect a classic car, but instead I watched the cost continue to rise while the condition of the unit stayed the same. Paying top dollar for a basic storage unit that isn’t temperature-controlled and can’t even keep out dirt and debris is extremely frustrating. I do want to give credit where it’s due: the on-site staff was always friendly, professional, and helpful. Every interaction I had with them was positive. My issue isn’t with the employees — they don’t control the pricing or the larger decisions that affected my experience. If you’re thinking about storing something valuable here, especially a classic or collector vehicle, I would strongly consider your options. My experience was that the pricing became unreasonable, the unit didn’t match the cost, and the overall value just wasn’t there.
