Here is my * NEW* review of Extra Space Storage on Barbur Boulevard in Portland: The current manager, Amanda Acosta, is as knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and helpful as the prior manager, Michelle, had been to me. When there was a potential issue with my unit, Amanda contacted me immediately. She made sure to be available at the time as soon as I could come in, and was most helpful in figuring out what was going on. Amanda has always been cordial when I call to authorize my monthly payments, and has gone above and beyond to help me understand and resolve any questions or issues I have had with rates, payments, coverages, or my actual units. I cannot commend her highly enough. When I went online to the Extra Space Storage website, it was very easy to navigate and answered the questions I had. Unluckily for me, at the time I was attempting to reserve a unit online, their system was getting overloaded. However, I was able to contact an agent via their live chat function, and they promptly made my reservation at the facility I wanted. The manager of that facility, Michelle from Extra Space Storage on Barbur Boulevard in Portland, called me immediately following my online reservation for the storage lockers I wanted. Michelle is not only quite friendly and professional, she is also very knowledgeable and answered every question I had regarding payments, access, and storage unit contract/leases. As I needed to secure my storage lockers BEFORE I was going to be in town, yet Extra Space Storage needs a contract lease within 24 hours of a reservation being made, Michelle made the effort to swiftly email to me *signable* electronic leases via an application called PactSafe. I found this application very easy and convenient to use, and I am very happy that Extra Space Storage uses it. And I am very happy with the *excellent* customer service I have received from Extra Space Storage, and particularly from Michelle at Extra Space Storage on Barbur Boulevard in Portland, Oregon. This review was meant to be posted 4+ years ago, when I first began using Extra Space Storage at this location; I do not know if it has been visible before now.

Had a good experiencing moving in to this location. The staff has been friendly and professional whenever I've had questions or a concern to resolve. I stopped in the office recently and spoke with Amanda who was very helpful providing me information and options to change to a different-sized unit.

Clean, convenient, easy. Staff was always super responsive and helpful. Our stuff felt clean and safe for two years. My only complaint is they raised the rate on us quite a bit.
