Great service, wonderful staff!

*UPDATED 5/6/26* READ ALL THE NEGATIVE REWIEWS BEFORE RENTING HERE. Especially the one about the unit that had it's door peeled back like a sardine can and the contents stolen. Been renting at the 7th and Belmont location for almost 3 years, had great customer service from previous management(Cara). When payment was due, had numerous calls, texts, emails sent, asked that they be kept at a minimum, and they had been after.After 3 calls and emails 3 days in a row since Thursday(3/16),and 3 calls/messages within 10 minutes from Dakota, I went to the office Saturday(3/18), tried to speak to the new manager (Dakota) about all the contact, that I had asked that it be noted on my profile with previous staff to keep notification to a minimum, he proceeded to scream and yell at me, gave me a 15 day vacate notice. The office phone rang, he answered it, to avoid further confrontation I decided to leave the office, he ran after me and he yelled at me on the street(office and street interaction caught on camera). When I tried to have another conversation with him, he called me an as____e, turned away and went back in the office. I called customer service, was told a district manager would call by Tuesday(3/21). Dakota called me again Wednesday(3/22) and screamed and yelled at me regarding his decision to terminate my storage lease to the point I hung up. I pay for my storage at Extra Space and for my cellular phone service, I don't need to be treated/disrespected in such a manner by him. Received a call Wednesday(3/22) afternoon by a district manager, Kent, said he'd investigate the situation and get back to me with a resolution. April 10th, still no call or resolution from Kent, made a call to customer service, spoke to Rebecca, no compassion or urgency in her voice, asking that Kent call me, was informed takes 48 hours for a response. Received a call from Margarita, Assistant District Manager, situation has been rectified/resolved, Dakota's decision to evict me overruled, allowed to continue to rent a space. After Dakota "left" Manager Ricardo was an absolute joy, sorry to see him go. *UPDATE* August 10th, 2025, went to get some things out of storage just after 6:00am for my job, elevators were not working, left a message on the rental office line. Came back an hour later, elevators were still down. Called the office 5 times between 9:30am(open) and 10:00am, no answer or return call. Called Corporate Customer Service to see what was going on, they contacted the site manager, transferered me to her, was informed by "Estelle" she was the new manager, that it was her first day, she was aware the elevators were out of order, she told me she had NO time to talk to me and hung up on me. I called again around 2:00pm to see if the elevators were working, Estelle once again said she had no time to talk to me, and AGAIN hung up on me. I left 3 messages for the Manager, Estelle to call me, nothing from her. Lost a paying job because I couldn't get in my unit. Cara was great, Dakota(after Cara) was a disaster, Ricardo(after Dakota) was great, Nikita(after Ricardo) was great for the short time she was there, current manager Estelle needs to work on her people skills, no one, especially a long-term customer needs to be treated the way I was from her. My unit is on the 6th floor, no air conditioning beastly hot during the Summer, freezing cold in the Winter. Several unannounced rent increases over the years.*UPDATE* Friday, August 15, 2025, several calls to the Belmont Extra Space Storage for the manager to contact me since the 11th, nothing. I guess my renting at that facility for 4 years means nothing to ESS.*UPDATE 5/6/26* Homeless camp out in the unsecured parking/access garage(see campfire scorch marks on the walls and damage to the access door lock from attempted break-ins)and in some units after hours. Wally doesn't return phone calls or note your file with important information for other employees to see.GO WITH ANOTHER COMPANY.

The staff are super nice and helpful, the storage space is clean and easy to access, and it’s in a great location. The price hike after the first year sucks ($100 increase), but this place is good for short-term storage.
