I was promised by their salesperson that if I paid for the first six months upfront, I could do the same again in six months to keep the SAME rental rate for the year. Of course, this was a lie despite their reassuring me multiple times before I signed on the dotted line. Once the first six months were up, they wanted to DOUBLE the rate! Their whole operation is based on taking advantage of people and hoping you'll be fine with getting robbed instead of getting your things out of storage. I had to fly halfway across the world to move my things out of storage after their shady and shameful method of doing "business." I'd suggest that you stay away from these money-hungry, monopolistic storage companies at all costs, because, no matter what, you'll save money and hassle in the long run. Go with an independent company, a friend, a family member, anything, but do not sign a lease with Extra Space Storage because it's filled with clauses that are all designed and worded to scam you. Also, the gate was never shut any time I visited my unit, so the security is nonexistent, and anyone could just waltz right in. Lazy AND greedy. Before I had even moved in, they were begging me for a five-star review. Well, here's an honest one. Good luck and beware.

I have had a very pleasant experience at this storage facility each time I've needed assistance. I am en existing customer and needed an additional unit temporarily.
