Jeff was patient, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful when it came to my storage needs. **Update** 08/08/2026 I changed my 5 star rating to a 1 Star because when I signed up (Online) on 5/7/2026, the online price was $39 for the 5x10 unit. When I went in, Jeff noticed I was being charged $40 and said he would correct it, but never did. I was charged $40 for the entire time. I was not made aware that the $39....Actually, $40 rate was for a limited time. The promotion only stated a price difference for the web rate and in-store rate. If there was a time limit, it was/is not noticeably displayed on their website and I was not verbally informed. On 7/30/2026, I received this email: UPCOMING RATE CHANGE Thank you for choosing Extra Space Storage to keep your belongings safe. As a month-to-month provider, our rates are reviewed and adjusted depending on current market conditions. We are notifying you that your promotional rate is expiring. Effective 09/07/2026, your monthly rent rate for space xxx will be $80.00. I understand this is a month-to-month agreement and that rates can be raised at any time. That's clearly stated in the contract, and I have no issue with that. But raising my rate over 100% after only two and a half months is excessive by any reasonable standard, considering current pricing for the same unit is $61 in-store and $33 online. Luckily, I hadn't moved in completely, so i moved out and cancelled my service on 8/1. It's a shame, because the property was clean and the staff was pleasant.
