When I rented my storage about 16 months ago I was give a $168 a month payment. Over the course of the time I was with them it went to $245. When the first jump happened I called and got a manager that turned it back to $168 but then it came again and when I called I was told “in the fine print of your paperwork, it says that rates are subject to float with area going rate” and was told too bad it’s now $245. I have now moved my stuff closer to my home with the exact same size storage and still climate controlled for just over $98 a month with public storage. I won’t be doing business with this company again. I ran into issues when I had my stuff in a storage in Kansas for 2 years then this one here in Denton. Thanks but no thanks. I did however experience a nice exit experience this last weekend. The associate on duty did work with me because I had just paid the $245 for the month 2 days before move out(I did however pre warn them on the app of the I tended move out) so she worked with me and only charged me for the 2 days we rented it and then refunded me the full month bill. Fantastic customer service maam! Best I can say is your stuff will be safe and clean but beware about high rent increases.
