2024-Dec I’ve had mixed experiences with ExtraSpace just in getting the rental set up. After searching an online storage aggregator and finding a good deal, it took three attempts to get a lease or rental at the advertised rates. This difficulty in honoring the online price, combined with the many reviews mentioning the frequent and steep rental rate increases made me hesitant to do business with ExtraSpace at all. Adonis, the office person today, changed that negative perception. He instantly “found” the online reservation. Honoring the given price was never discussed just assumed, and after a brief, painless but thorough, and courteous phone session I had a lease. Hours later my lock was physically on my new unit. Well done Adonis!! I’ll update this review if there are any more shenanigans, but Adonis gives me hope that sensible and honest people still work here. It’s clear that there is a transition from LifeStorage to ExtraSpace that’s still playing out and that probably extends to personnell as well. For now, however, the place is spotlessly clean, fastidiously maintained and the only person I’ve met IRL (Adonis) is friendly, helpful, and capable. All very good signs. I’d give this place five stars no doubt if it were not for the first two attempts to scam me by attempting to chargie me nearly double the rate I had signed up for online (while trying to complete the lease over the phone and web).

Dylan (hoping spelling is correct) is great to work with at Extra space. Called in the afternoon, got an answer from a human, and had some questions. Dylan (again hoping spelling is correct) was quick to respond and very engaging. To date the best person I have dealt with up there in two years!
