My unit was just purchased by extra space storage. They transfer process has been a nightmare. I am called every week saying I didn't make a payment, they have no record from one person to the next, one lady lied to me and said that I told her I had to wait until I received my check to pay (not true,) then she blamed Mark saying it's Mark's fault because he didn't adequate notes. I've sent 3 bill pay checks in, and paid 2x over the phone in the last two months, and somehow, I'm still delinquent. And the rate "decrease" they gave me two months ago, somehow magically went in effect today....

My unit was just purchased by extra space storage. I was worried that it being transferred to a new company would increase my rates even more, again, and the manager there was able to actually lower my monthly rate. With everything else inflating in our world, this was a really nice surprise, and very appreciated.

I’ve been stuck inside the complex on several occasions, including a couple of times after hours as a result of the exit gate not opening when I enter my pin. After bringing this to their attention, I was assured it wouldn’t be an issue moving forward, but it has continued. When this happened after hours, I was only able to leave a message upon calling their main number, and I had to drive back to the main entrance gate and crawl underneath it to access the keypad on the other side in order to get out. I would guess this isn’t an isolated incident, since they now keep the exit gate propped open 24/7 and have been doing so for some time for whatever reason instead of just fixing it.
