Six months ago I moved to this storage place because the storage place I was with was bought out by another company. I paid 6 months in advance when I moved to Extra Space Storage because I was told that I could lock in the price as long as I paid 6 months in advance. A few weeks ago I received a notice in the mail that on April 23, the price would double for my storage unit. For a unit to double in price in less than 6 months is absurd! This company obviously doesn’t care about their customers! As a result, I have terminated my contract.

Absolutely constant fee increases. Not the type of business I would ever support again. Find a local storage company that’s not owned via REIT and cares about their customers.
