Wauwatosa Self Storage at 3031 N 114th St

From beginning to end, my experience last night making my reservation to then coming here in person today has been a 10 out of 10 or a 5 out of 5. Not only is the internet and then app experience easy and impressive, but what stood out over the past 24 hours is your Rockstar and all star of an employee, Tory! I am a retired Registered Nurse of 20 years. I have done retail and customer service 10 years before that and another 5 years since retiring as a Nurse. I have 35 years of customer service. Tory's parents raised him right. He is professional, patient, kind, outgoing, goes above and beyond and for me 100% genuine. He was never a used car salesman trying to sell me my own car. Tory deserves the higher wage offered in his pay scale, top tier. In my opinion and coming from retail and customer service myself, Tory should be making at least $25 an hour. That is the minimum working livable wage month to month in today's economy and with inflation. In my opinion he should be making more than that and would be if he was my Rockstar employee. He made my experience detailed and dont have one bad critique about him. Thank you for hiring him. Thank you Tory ??

Beware... Do not let the 4.9 rating fool you. Not only are the price increases predatory, your things will smell like mold/mildew...like an old basement when you take them out. I have been taking out my things little by little. I have to have them sit in my car to air out and my car smells like this now. Most of my things are ruined, and while they make you pay monthly for insurance, the policy does not cover mold smell, or mildew damage.. even though the facility has had water damage in the past and has structural issues, hence the smell. Once you enter the facility, you immediately smell it. The insurance adjuster told me that the facility manager told her that many people have complained about the "basement " smell affecting their items. I am beyond upset. You store your items to be protected from this type of thing. I could have stored in someone's basement for free if I wanted my things to smell like this.. I will be definitely filing a lawsuit.

Tory was super nice and helpful. Answered all of our questions and helped us through the whole enrollment process. Very professional. Would highly recommend.
