I have been at life storage for over a year And they are great. The staff is very responsive when you call, super friendly and very helpful. The facility is super clean and very safe. I am very pleased with this business and the people running it

Facility was very clean and well maintained. Access and Security are good. Communication with the clerks is awesome, anything that needed handled was easy to deal with and any questions were answered promptly.

I rented a unit in August 2024, I now after a little over a year emptied what was supposed to be clean , non contaminated , pest free storage. It took several hundred miles and 3 trips to empty unit. On the first trip we unloaded at our stuffs destination we noticed that there were live mice and urine inside several pairs of shoes. Nests of baby mice , clothes destroyed by urine, chewing, and fowl odors. July of 2024 I signed a contract that my rate for a 10x40 was around $200, in the last year this company has been bought out 3 times, at which my rate increased over 100 dollars each time. Without notifying me. They had a accessible email to inform me every time . Yet they found good faith to let me know they were painting but never that my price was being increased. My rate went less than 200 to over 500 in a year. My only guess is they attempt to catch people off guard where they can keep your belongings and either sell them back to you at a extreme rate or make money off them. Not everyone is capable of paying a huge difference without knowledge at time of bill last minute. I was fortunate and was able to afford this. Yet the last several months I have paid well over $500 and my storage did not maintain cleanliness, safeness, or being pest free , but they found time to paint at the last buy out. The front end manager Susie is amazing and exceptional at her job, the GM is also very reliable, but as for every company , that purchased this location over the last year they have been intolerable. I always paid maybe not on time but it was known from many conversations that I didn't mind the late fee and I always paid. Which is why I can say I now have my belongings that were not as I left them. I stay busy out of this state as which was explained. But this most recent company felt fit to have a gentleman call me lying about my due date, threatening to sell my belongings, being very disrespectful and degrading. This happened before my due date as a ",courtesy". My bill was not due for several days yet their courtesy was to call berade , and threaten me. I do not recommend this location unless your possessions are of no significance to you as they will be destroyed by infestations , and rotting carcasses , which I have included some pictures of.Maybe the health department should look into this place as didn't a very historical sickness start with mice? Also you will be tricked into signing a contract that promises you a set rate for 12 months , but again the several companies that bought this place disregarded my set rate instead increased it from less than $200 to over $500. They will destroy their selves I will not waste time, money , or resources in taking legal action, but I do look forward to seeing their losses if they continue to allow and do what they have done. And if you already have storage here , I suggest you check it immediately.
