I had a great experience with Kelvin and the team at Extra Space Storage on Apex Road in Sarasota. Within 24 hours of renting my unit, I realized that I would be better off with an indoor, climate-controlled unit at another Extra Space Storage location. I had already moved a few boxes into the unit, so I fully expected the process of canceling and switching locations to be a headache. It was the complete opposite. Kelvin was incredibly nice, patient, and easy to work with. He helped me cancel the original unit, provided a full refund, and made it easy for me to get set up at the new location — all within the same 24 hours. What stood out to me most was how I was treated throughout the entire process. There was never any frustration or pressure, even though I was canceling a unit I had just rented. They simply wanted to help me find the option that worked best for what I needed. That kind of customer service goes a long way. It’s actually the reason I wanted to stay with Extra Space Storage at the new location rather than looking somewhere else. They’ll absolutely have my business again in the future because of how Kelvin and the team handled everything. Highly recommend this location for and a huge thank you to Kelvin for making the entire process so easy!
