Hi there, I’m Kayla, and I’m the face behind @itshoneydone on socials where I share home DIY projects and life with my family! Before starting It’s Honey Done I worked full-time as a psychiatric social worker while living in our first home and quickly realized that we couldn’t afford to hire out all of the projects I wanted to do. As my honey-do list kept growing I was determined to learn how to use power tools and take matters into my own hands and, one by one, my honey-do list was getting honey-DONE! I became addicted to that feeling of empowerment each time I learned how to do something new and, with each new skill, my confidence and my projects grew bigger and better. You can now find me sharing tips for things like accent walls, figuring things out as I go while renovating my whole kitchen, or sharing my latest Amazon obsession. We just bought a new house and the projects are endless, so come meet me in stories! I’m self-taught and share everything in live time so that when I make mistakes we can learn together. I can’t wait to meet you!
