    How Does Contactless Entry Work?

    If your facility is equipped with Bluetooth technology, follow these steps to enjoy keyless entry:

    1. Rent a Storage Unit: Use our Rapid Rental process to reserve a storage unit and get your access code.

    2. Download Our Mobile App: Download Extra Space Storage's mobile self storage app to gain digital access to the facility gate and entry keypads—as well as your unit.

    3. Visit Your Storage Facility: Once you arrive at the facility, simply pull up to the gate, open our app, and click "Digital Access" to unlock it.
