How To Get Gate Access

You should receive your gate access instructions once you have submitted all the necessary paperwork and payment information for your storage unit. You can also access your gate code through the My Account portal. When you get to your storage facility, input your code into the keypad outside the gate. Or if your facility has a Bluetooth-enabled gate, you can use your app near the gate to gain access. If you are having trouble opening the gate, call your storage facility manager.

What Are Extra Space Storage Gate Hours?

Gate hours for Extra Space Storage are generally 6am to 10pm at most locations. If you'd like access at any time, you can reserve 24/7 storage at some of our facilities by speaking with the manager. 24/7 storage access allows you to stop by the gate any time and enter your code as you normally would.
